The basics

What is a Fujifilm recipe?

A Fujifilm recipe is a saved set of in-camera JPEG settings — a base film simulation plus white balance, dynamic range, tone curve, colour and grain adjustments. Save one to a custom slot (C1–C7) and your X-Trans or GFX camera renders a finished, film-look JPEG the moment you press the shutter — no editing, no laptop.

Every recipe in this library is tested on real Fujifilm bodies and documented with the exact values to dial in, the sensors it works on, and honest notes on what it nails and where it falls short. Browse by film simulation, by the camera in your bag, or by the look and use case you're shooting for — every recipe is free to copy.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Fujifilm film simulation recipe?

A recipe is a saved set of in-camera JPEG settings — a base film simulation plus white balance, dynamic range, tone, colour and grain adjustments. Save it to a custom slot (C1–C7) and your camera produces a finished film-look JPEG straight out of camera, with no editing.

How do I use a recipe on my camera?

Open the Image Quality menu, pick an empty custom setting, set the base film simulation, then enter each value from the recipe's settings table. Save it and select that slot whenever you want the look.

Will a recipe work on my Fujifilm body?

Recipes depend on the sensor generation. Each recipe lists its compatible sensors (X-Trans III, IV, V and GFX) and example cameras. Browse by sensor or camera to find recipes guaranteed to work on your gear.
